Accessibility statement
With the entry of the Law on accessibility of websites and software solutions for mobile devices of public sector bodies of the Republic of Croatia, Tourist board Vrsi publishes a Statement on the accessibility of its website and applications related to services and projects (EU) 2016/2102, and enable the provision of user feedback in order to further improve network accessibility.
General
The website www.tz-vrsi.hr strives to ensure the accessibility of its services for people with disabilities. Changes have been made to simplify the use of the site in order to make it more accessible to people with disabilities, in the firm belief that every person has the right to a dignified, equal, comfortable and independent life.
Tourist board Vrsi recognizes the importance of ensuring digital accessibility for all users, with special emphasis on easier access to public services and information for people with disabilities, applying, as far as possible, Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
Tourist board Vrsi continuously improves the user experience by applying the relevant accessibility standards according to the guidelines and standardization of network content (WCAG 2.1) of the Network Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), an organization that deals with standardization of network technologies.

As a public sector body, Tourist board Vrsi strives to make its website www.vrsi.hr accessible in accordance with the Act on accessibility of websites and software solutions for mobile devices of public sector of the Republic of Croatia (OG 17/19), dated 23 September 2019. , transposing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of public sector bodies’ websites and mobile applications into national law.
Degree of compliance
The website www.tz-vrsi.hr is harmonized with the Law on accessibility of websites and software solutions for mobile devices of public sector bodies, but with some exceptions.
The content listed below is inaccessible for the following reasons:
Accessibility of PDF documents for the visually impaired
Some PDF files contained in posts are not entirely created by exporting from a source file from Microsoft Office Word with selecting accessibility options, but by scanning printed documents. These are statute of TB Vrsi and some other documents.

Some images doesn’t have suitable text description (Alt text).
Raising the level of accessibility
Tourist board Vrsi will implement corrective measures to address the problem of inaccessible content of its network headquarters to the maximum extent possible in order to comply with the Law on accessibility.
Changing the contrast and changing the font size is solved by installing a menu – accessibility tool in the upper left corner of the grid.

This Statement was prepared on 21. August 2020, in accordance with the Accessibility statement template in line with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, established by the EU Commission Implementing Decision 2018/1523 October 11, 2018
The self-assessment method conducted by the public sector body and the methods of testing the accessibility of the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool and the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool were used to prepare this Statement.
